About Us

The Russian Lady is a multifaceted café and nightlife venue that has established itself as a domineering force in its industry. Originally opening in 1976 in Downtown Hartford, The Russian Lady quickly became a fixture for live music, gatherings, and of course- it's Infamous Russian Lady Iced Teas! After closing its doors in 1997, the demands to bring back this social landmark were answered in 2011 when The Russian Lady reopened under new ownership and a with new remodeling. With over 12,000 square feet, three different floors, and various different rooms, The Russian Lady is able to offer a unique experience to its patrons. Customers can enjoy a pub-style atmosphere on our first floor, a vodka bar and lounge as well as a billiards room on the second floor, and a cigar bar on our rooftop. With our festive Happy Hours, pub-style menu, live entertainment, and multiple TVs for sporting events, we have a little something for everyone!

Our Rooms

1st Floor Pub

Enjoy a classy and casual pub atmosphere on our first floor! With multiple TVs (including personal table TVs!) and surround sound, it is a great place to catch any sporting event! Our pub-style menu is available seven days a week from 4pm until 11pm! With signature items like our "Russian Roulette Poppers", we take classic favorites and add our own Russian Flare! You will also find local bands, DJs and acoustic acts taking the stage several times a week! Check out our schedule of upcoming events!

Vodka Bar & Lounge

Our second floor is home to our Vodka Bar & Lounge. With over 100 different kinds of Vodka, we have a vast array for our customers to choose from! Located within our Vodka Bar, are our Signature Vodka Infusions made in-house with flavors ranging from Sour Patch Kids to Seasonal Fruit & Herb Pairings. Our antique couches and tables make it the perfect spot to relax with friends or book a VIP reservation. Our premiere DJs for this room specialize in house, dance and techno to add to the room’s trendy vibe.

Billiards Room

Also located on our second floor is our Billiards Bar and Pool Room. With three pool tables and two dart boards, there is always something fun to part take in! Thursday through Saturday this spacious room also houses our dance floor and resident DJ spinning classic favorites and chart toppers of today!

Cigar Bar Rooftop

This unique rooftop patio can't be duplicated anywhere in the state! Enjoy drinks at the bar and dancing under the stars with a fluctuation of live acoustic acts (seasonally). We also have a selection of quality cigars to choose from for those who would like to indulge!
